"I enjoy using the old world techniques popular in the
time of Rembrandt. Light and shadow play an integral part in my work.
The light leads the viewer around and into the piece while the shadows
invite the viewer to add their own thoughts and feelings. Together, artist
and viewer make the story complete."
The summer is passing by at a shocking pace! Already into July and I have
not done nearly enough hikes. Can you believe it is already time to think
about holiday commissions?
Thanks to all of you who have given me the wonderful opportunity to paint
your companion animals. I am continuing to
accept commission work for 2011.
Email or give me a call. We want to make sure to reserve one of the
remaining time slots to honor your once in a lifetime companion for the occasion
of your choice.
The best occasion may be just because you are honored to know them.
Let's not forget those that have so enriched our lives.

especially liked Beverly Endsley's watercolors used in the story about Brown
