"I enjoy using the old world techniques popular in the
time of Rembrandt. Light and shadow play an integral part in my work.
The light leads the viewer around and into the piece while the shadows
invite the viewer to add their own thoughts and feelings. Together, artist
and viewer make the story complete."
Just back from a wonderful time in Santa Fe and Taos.
First National Bank of Santa Fe, NM invited me to hang a one woman show in their
historic building just steps away from the plaza on W. Palace. Please stop
by and check it out of you find yourself down that way. 15 of my paintings
and sketches of people and animals will be on display for the next several
months
Thanks to all of you who have given me the wonderful opportunity to paint
your companion animals. I am continuing to
accept commission work for 2010.
Email or give me a call. We want to make sure to reserve one of the
remaining time slots to honor your once in a lifetime companion for the occasion
of your choice.
The best occasion may be just because you are honored to know them.
Let's not forget those that have so enriched our lives.

IN MEMORY OF WHIZZER
A special boy I knew too briefly
"I feel so blessed
that I found you while Whizzer was still here with me and that I decided to have
you paint him. Now, more than ever, that painting means the world to me. "
