While all of my paintings come from the heart, there is a specialness about creating a commission for
someone. It is an enriching process for us both with so much fun along the way.

We begin with a photograph. I will crop it to create a reference that is not only a beautiful
representation of the model but one that will make a well composed painting. When you have selected
your pose, the size and shape decision will come easily.

Once these have been decided, I pull out my archival canvas and paints and start to work. The process will take 6 to 8 weeks. When I have reached a point towards the end, you will be contact for your feedback.

 

Does it FEEL like your special pet to you? Was he somehow different in real life? Wetter nose? Fluffier tail? These comments will be infused into the painting until the piece is finished and
awaits your approval.

Only upon approval is you painting then varnished and sent to you. The piece will arrive unframed.

A 50% deposit will be requested before painting begins with the balance payable before shipping.
